George Upper to Unveil Commemorative Print for Jr. Hockey

Local artist and Museum supporter, George Upper, has created a special commemorative painting in celebration of Junior Hockey in St. Catharines. The painting features ten of the greatest players to pass through the local Junior ranks and many others who made a significant contribution to Junior A Hockey in St. Catharines or went on to major careers in hockey. The painting will be officially unveiled at the Museum during a special ceremony from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2004 (see “Memorial Cup” article for further details). Artist-signed and numbered prints will be available for purchase.
